Transparency

There is no mechanism to hand-set a casino’s score: not in the code, not in the admin panel, not for the owner of this site. Every score is computed by the engine from its inputs. Whether an operator pays us is stored in a field that has no code path into the scoring functions, and a test suite fails the build if one is ever introduced.

A paid placement is labelled Sponsored, is visually distinct, and is never mixed into a score-ranked list. The full formulas, every weight and every cap, are on the methodology page.

We moderate for abuse and for fakery. We do not moderate for being unflattering, which is why the distribution below is not a wall of five-star reviews.

• We will not sell a score, adjust one after a commercial conversation, or take an operator down from the register because they asked.
• We will not claim a licence we have not checked. Where we could not match an operator’s licence on the regulator’s own register, its page says so, no licence is claimed on its behalf, and it carries no score. It stays on the register, because an operator you cannot see is one you cannot check.
• We will not invent a number. An operator without enough data reads “Not yet rated”, and a statistic without enough cases behind it shows a dash. Both are more useful to you than a confident fabrication.
• We will not restate an allegation as a finding. A case is what a player told us happened, presented as exactly that.
