The minimum deposit is a small number that quietly governs two larger things: whether you qualify for the offer you came for, and whether you can ever get a small balance out.
The bonus threshold trap
A site advertises a $10 minimum deposit. The welcome bonus requires a $20 qualifying deposit. Deposit $10 expecting the bonus, and you get no bonus, and no warning, because the deposit itself was valid.
Worse, some terms specify a qualifying deposit per tranche of a multi-part welcome package. Miss the threshold on deposit three and that tranche is simply gone.
The asymmetry that strands money
Compare the two directions:

That gap is not an accident. If a $30 balance is below a $50 standard withdrawal minimum, check whether support can return a smaller remainder and whether a fee applies. A standard cashier threshold does not establish that gambling is the only available action.

- 02Is there a fee on withdrawals below a certain size? A $5 fee on a $20 payout is a 25% charge.
- 03Does the qualifying deposit for the bonus exceed the site minimum?
