Verdict

The band a casino's TrustAudit Index falls into, from Fully Trusted down to Guilty: the plain-English summary of the evidence.

A number is precise and a number is easy to ignore. The verdict is the same finding, said out loud.

The bands

VerdictTrustAudit IndexWhat it means
Fully Trusted9.0 and aboveNothing significant found against it. Rare.
Trusted8.0 to 8.9Minor findings only
Reliable6.5 to 7.9Real findings, none disqualifying
Mixed Verdict5.0 to 6.4A pattern is forming. Read the profile before you deposit.
On Trial3.0 to 4.9Serious, documented findings
GuiltyBelow 3.0, or blacklistedWe advise against it, and we say why

An active blacklisting forces Guilty regardless of the arithmetic. There is no score high enough to outrank confiscating a player's winnings.

What a verdict is not

  • It is not a recommendation. It is a summary of findings. A Fully Trusted casino will still take your money in the long run, because the house edge does not care about our opinion of the operator.
  • It is not permanent. Verdicts move. An unanswered case adds black points, which lower the index, which can drop the band. A fixed clause raises it.
  • It is not for sale. No commercial term reaches the number behind it.
  • It is not the absence of one. Not yet rated is a separate state, and it means what it says: we do not have the evidence, so we are not going to pretend we do.
