Zeus over a six-by-five grid, and no paylines at all. Symbols pay by count wherever they land — eight or more of a kind anywhere on the grid — then vanish and let the ones above tumble into the gap, so a single spin can resolve several times before it ends.
The multiplier orbs are the mechanic that made it famous: values from 2× to 500× drop in at random during the tumbles, and everything collected is added together and applied to the whole sequence at once. That is where the very high volatility comes from, and where the arithmetic gets misleading. Most spins end on the first tumble with nothing, and the game's whole return is concentrated in the rare sequence where several large orbs land together. Reading the ceiling as a target rather than a tail is the most expensive mistake a player makes on a game like this.
