Every casino directory on the internet is ordered by something. Most will not tell you what. Here is ours, in full.
The weights
| Component | Weight |
|---|---|
| TrustAudit Index — our editorial safety score | 45% |
| JuryScore — what players report | 30% |
| Payout speed | 10% |
| Bonus value: the real cost of clearing it, not the headline | 10% |
| Data freshness — how recently we verified the facts | 5% |
Then a straight deduction: −0.15 for every open case past its deadline, capped at −1.5. An operator sitting on four unanswered cases loses 0.6 of a point off its ranking, every day, until it answers them.
Three-quarters of the ordering is trust and testimony. The bonus: the thing every other site leads with — is worth a tenth, and it is scored on how expensive the offer is to clear, never on how large the headline number is.
What is not in there
Paid-placement flags. Affiliate deal type. Commission rate. Revenue share. Whether the operator returns our emails.
None of these has a code path into this number. That is not a policy statement; it is a property of the codebase, and it is tested.
How paid placement actually works here
We do take affiliate commission. That is how the site is funded, and it is disclosed at every outbound click. Where an operator pays for placement, that placement:
- is labelled Sponsored, in plain words
- sits outside the ranked list, never interleaved into it
- is visually distinct from a ranked result
- does not change its score, its verdict, or its rank position by a single point
