Payout speed

The time from withdrawal request to money in your hands: the most predictive number on any casino profile, and the hardest one to fake.

If you take one metric from this glossary, take this one.

Why it is the most honest number in the industry

An operator can buy affiliate placement. It can buy reviews. It can buy a slick site and a generous headline bonus. It cannot buy the lived experience of five thousand people waiting eleven days for their own money, and it cannot suppress what those people say about it.

Payout speed is also tightly correlated with everything else that matters. Operators that pay within hours tend to have automated verification, adequate liquidity, and a support function that answers. Operators that pay in weeks tend to have a reason, and the reason is rarely in your favour.

How we score it

Bluntly, and on purpose. This band table feeds directly into BetJury Rank, where it carries 10% of the weight:

Average time to payoutScoreWhat it usually means
Under 24 hours10 / 10Automated, funded, confident
Under 48 hours8 / 10A manual review step, competently staffed
Under 72 hours6 / 10Batch processing, or a queue
Under 7 days4 / 10Friction doing work other than compliance
Over 7 days2 / 10Treat the number in your account as provisional

Read it alongside the complaint record

Slow payouts with a thin complaint file usually mean the operator is small. Slow payouts with a thick one mean the operator is slow on purpose — see black points.

And read the advertised figure sceptically. "Withdrawals processed within 24 hours" typically means the operator's internal approval step takes 24 hours, after which the pending period and the processor each add their own. The number that matters is request to bank, measured by players.
